حول التضامن في المنفي، 14 نوفمبر | تشرين الثاني 2020
في أعقاب الانتفاضات الشعبية في غرب آسيا وشمال أفريقيا، أصبحت برلين بيتا حيناً وملجأ مؤقتا في حين آخر للنشطاء والمجتمعات المحلية من المنطقة
من جهة، تتشابه تجارب مجتمعات المنفى مع العزلة والتهميش السياسي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي، ويتشارك أفراده المساحات المسموحة لهم/ لهن بالعمل وعقبات، مصاعب الحياة في البلد المستضيف، هذا غير ارتباطهم المستمر بالوضع السياسي المتأزم في بلادهم/بلادهن
.ومن جهة أخرى، يختلف أفراد تلك المجتمعات بالضرورة فيما يخص بلد المنشأ، وجهات النظر السياسية والتاريخ الشخصي والسياسي
.بين سبل التضامن وما تفرضه الاختلافات من عوائق، تبقى برلين مساحة لفرص جديدة وتحديات متنوعة
ما هو موضوع الورشة؟ ومن نسعى للوصول إليهم\ن؟
هذه دعوة للمشاركة نوجهها لمنظمات وأفراد مهاجرة وما بعد مهاجرة من المنطقة بهدف محاولة التفكير سوياً في كيفية تعامل القائمين علي هذه المنظمات، أو الأفراد من النشطاء مع الوضع في المنفى وكيفية تحقيق التضامن ومواجهة التحديات المشتركة. في أزمنة تقل فيها مساحات حرية التعبير ويتواصل فرض القيود على الحركة بين الوطن والمنفى، نرى أن مساعي التضامن صارت في غاية الأهمية
.إضافة إلى مساعي التشبيك وتبادل الخبرات وتوحيد الجهود المرتبطة بالقضايا المشتركة. تسعى هذه الورشة إلى أن تكون نواة لمؤتمر يقام لاحقاً حول دور المنفي البرليني بمناسبة ذكرى عشر سنوات من الانتفاضات والثورات في المنطقة

Call for Participation
Online-Workshop on „Solidarity between Exiles”
November 14th, 2020
Berlin has always been a home or temporary refuge for exile activists and communities from West-Asia and North-Africa, even more so since the 2011 uprisings.
On the one hand, exile communities share similar experiences of political, economic and social exclusion and marginalization. Exile communities also share the allowed spaces and challenges of being active both in the diaspora’s struggles and focusing on the political situation in the respective home country.
On the other hand, places of origin, political perspectives and histories of migration are completely different.
Between the poles of a) solidarity and b) distinction, Berlin as a common place of residence offers opportunities but also challenges.
What is this workshop about? Whom do we want to connect?
This is a call for (post-)migrant organizations from WANA. We want to jointly reflect on how YOU perceive your situation in exile, how solidarity action can be put in practice and which common struggles can be jointly addressed.
In times of shrinking spaces regarding freedom of speech and restricted possibilities to move between home country and exile, we consider this exchange as very urgent.
Besides the aim of networking, exchanging best and bad practices and (hopefully) uniting when it comes to common causes, we also want to discuss how to shape a following conference on the role of the Berlin Exile with regards to “10 years of Uprisings in WANA”.

Who is hosting this networking event?
NAWARA is a Berlin-based grassroots process-oriented collective of migrant artists, activists and researchers with congruent ties to the WANA region. It aspires to provide North-Africa West-Asia communities in the diaspora and the region with relevant interdisciplinary research, coaching, training, and consultancy.
Dis:Orient is a Berlin-based independent Collective of Journalists, Researchers and Activists with a focus on the WANA region. Inspired by feminist and postcolonial thoughts dis:orient especially works the entanglements between WANA and Europe and actively opposes orientalist practices.

Online-Workshop zum Thema „Solidarität zwischen Exilen”
14. November 2020
Vor allem seit den Protesten, Aufständen und Revolutionen im Jahr 2011, bietet Berlin ein Zuhause - oder zumindest einen vorübergehenden Zufluchtsort - für im Exil lebende Aktivist*innen und sogenannten Exilgemeinschaften aus Westasien und Nordafrika (WANA).
Dabei teilen Exilgemeinschaften nicht nur soziale Räume oder Erfahrungen von politischer, wirtschaftlicher und sozialer Ausgrenzung sowie Marginalisierung. Sie stehen ebenso ähnlichen Herausforderungen gegenüber wie das aktive Wirken innerhalb der Diaspora und der parallelen Auseinandersetzung mit der politischen Situation im Heimatland.
Dennoch unterscheiden sich Exilgemeinschaften was Herkunftsorte, politische Perspektiven und Migrationsgeschichten angeht.
Berlin als gemeinsamer Wohnort bietet hierbei viele Möglichkeiten zu einem solidarischen Zusammenleben, aber auch viele Herausforderungen.
Worum geht es in diesem Workshop? Wen wollen wir vernetzen?
Dies ist ein Aufruf an (Post-)Migrantenorganisationen aus WANA. Wir möchten gemeinsam darüber nachdenken, wie IHR eure Situation im Exil wahrnehmt, wie Maßnahmen zur Solidaritätsförderung in die Praxis umgesetzt werden können und welche Probleme gemeinsam angegangen werden müssen.
In Zeiten knapper werdender Räume in Bezug auf Redefreiheit und eingeschränkter Möglichkeiten, sich zwischen Heimatland und Exil zu bewegen, halten wir diesen Austausch für dringend notwendig.
Neben dem Ziel der Vernetzung, des Austauschs bewährter und verbesserungsfähiger Praktiken sowie (hoffentlich) der Verständigung in Bezug auf gemeinsame Anliegen, möchten wir auch diskutieren, wie eine Konferenz über die Rolle des Berliner Exils in Bezug auf „10 Jahre Aufstand in WANA” umgesetzt werden kann.

Wer veranstaltet diesen Workshop?
NAWARA ist ein in Berlin ansässiges prozessorientiertes Basis-Kollektiv von Künstler*innen, Aktivist*innen und Forscher*innen mit Migrationshintergrund und kongruenten Beziehungen zur WANA-Region. Ziel ist es, nordafrikanischen westasiatischen Gemeinden in der Diaspora und der Region relevante interdisziplinäre Forschung, Coaching, Schulung und Beratung zu bieten.
Dis:Orient ist ein in Berlin ansässiges unabhängiges Kollektiv von Journalist*innen, Forscher*innen und Aktivist*innen mit Schwerpunkt auf der WANA-Region. Inspiriert von feministischen und postkolonialen Gedanken arbeitet dis:orient insbesondere an den Verflechtungen zwischen WANA und Europa und lehnt orientalistische Praktiken aktiv ab.
