Milad Amin is a Syrian filmaker, journalist, activist based in Berlin. He studied sculpture and fine arts in Damascus University. In Damascus, Beirut to Berlin, he created sculptures, worked on concept artist pieces, graffiti, photography, film directing, videography and video editing.
Five days after the war in Ukraine had started, the Syrian activist and journalist Milad Amin travelled to the Polish border with a van full of collected donations. In this photo essay, he tries to capture the thoughts that the trip provoked in him.
